James (“Jim”) E. Farah – President
James (“Jim”) E. Farah.
Jim is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and holds the following degrees:
Doctor of Business Administration, Juris Doctor, and Master of Business
Administration.
Jim’s professional career spans over the past thirty-five years, which includes working for United Parcel Service (“UPS”) for twenty years. While at UPS, he held various management and staff positions including being one of UPS’ in-house attorneys.
Jim is member of the Florida Bar and is the President of Farah Law®. Jim is a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Court Mediator, a licensed real estate broker, and is a clinic professor of management and law at Jacksonville University. He has authored and co-authored various publications in the fields of management and business.
David Ghannam – Of Counsel
David E. Ghannam graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Business (BSBA, 1986) and Law (Juris Doctor, 1989).
He primarily represents clients in all areas of personal injury, including auto accidents, medical malpractice, slip and falls, dog bites, and other insurance, negligence and injury related claims.
Mr. Ghannam is licensed in the States of Florida and Michigan, and litigates all types of injury claims in State and Federal Courts.
Ricky P. Bateh – Of Counsel
Ricky P. Bateh was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Wolfson High School in 1974. Ricky attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1978 and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 1982. While attending graduate school, Ricky began his career in laboratory medicine (clinical chemistry and toxicology) by working in the clinical laboratory at Shands Teaching Hospital. Following his postgraduate education, Ricky received further training in laboratory medicine by serving as a postdoctoral fellow in Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology at Evanston Hospital – Northwestern University School of Medicine.
From 1984 – 1986, Ricky served as a clinical laboratory director in Tennessee with the Hospital Corporation of America. In July 1986, Ricky returned to Jacksonville, FL and set up a toxicology laboratory for St. Vincent’s Medical Center (under Consolidated Laboratory Services) where he served as a laboratory director until 1991 when he entered law school. In 1993, Ricky graduated from the College of Law at the University of Florida and opened a private practice in April 1994. Ricky’s practice of law was complemented by his affiliations with other groups where he consulted as a clinical laboratory director. In 2007, Ricky scaled back his practice of law to part-time and joined the US Navy as a civilian chemist where he currently serves as a laboratory certifying official for the Navy Drug Screening Laboratory.
